The Citrus County School District is seeking applicants to be hired PART-TIME to obtain State of Florida Certification as a School Guardian.

Training Begins: April 20

Total Training Hours: 144 hours

Training conducted in partnership with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office

This is a unique opportunity for qualified individuals who are passionate about school safety and serving our community. Selected applicants will complete the required 144-hour guardian training program and must successfully pass comprehensive background screenings with both the Citrus County School District and the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

Full-time School Guardian positions will be officially posted and open for application during the summer of 2026.
